A collection started by Leonard Thompson, who worked in a glazing and frame making factory as a teenager. Eventually earning his qualifications as an optometrist he and his eccentric son, Alan, amassed a bountiful collection. Stocking all kinds of groundbreaking and outrageous frames as the decades passed.
This fluid currency formed the foundation of N.T.E. The third generation of Thompson is now carrying the mantle, refurbishing and reviving vintage eyewear. Sourcing from France, Italy, Germany, and Japan Nico is always on the hunt for these everyday works of art. Miraculously engineered pieces of design and markers of modern culture.
